Tips to Take Exfoliation Treatments to the Next Level

If you’re like us, skincare-obsessed professionals, then you understand the power of buffing away dry, flaky skin during a facial treatment. Exfoliation is the only way to make sure the skin is smooth, healthy and glowing right? So if you’re ready to take your exfoliation treatments to the next level, then read on for some of our professional Tuel concoctions staring our favorite exfoliator of all—Power Scrub.

One Powerful Scrub

Buffing away dead skin cells during a facial treatment definitely starts with Power Scrub. This ultra-fine polishing paste uses pumice, tea tree, and lemongrass to refine the skin’s surface, while vitamin E and chamomile condition and soothe.

The exfoliation step during facial treatments can make all the difference in the results your clients experience. As we age, cell regeneration slows down, and old skin tends to sit on the skin’s surface, leaving skin looking dull, rough and dry. Dead skin cells also clog pores leading to blemishes and acne issues.

If using Power Scrub alone, apply a small amount in your hands using a little bit of water and scrub the face, neck and décolleté. But what if you want to take this very important step in your facial treatments to the next level and give your Power Scrub a little boost? These professional Tuel concoctions are just the jump start your facial treatments need.

  • Take your facial exfoliant treatments up a notch by mixing ¼ teaspoon of Power Scrub with Enzyme Peel and water.
  • Don’t have a Microderm machine? Power Scrub is just as effective in removing dead skin while also soothing on the skin.
  • Power Scrub mixed with Power Peel is excellent for a body exfoliating treatment. Remember to follow with Triple Splash and Botanical Blast to hydrate, nourish, and condition the skin.
  • For acne facial treatments, mix 1 teaspoon of Enzyme Peel, ¼ teaspoon of Power Scrub with 2 teaspoons of water and apply to face and neck.

Don’t forget to educate your clients about at home care. Power Scrub should be applied 1-3 times per week to moist skin, massaging briefly, adding water before rinsing thoroughly. For the ultimate exfoliation, recommend they use Power Peel the night before.
